Resided Alloways Creek Township, Salem Co., NJ.
Craig, Salem County Genealogical Data, v.1, p.105:
Mary Hancock and Philip Blansher ? pass meeting 3-30-1709. This is
probably not the Mary Hancock, dau. of John and Mary (Champney) Hancock, who
was born 4-15-1698.
It is possible that Philip Blanchard married a Hancock widow. Until
proved, we can only assume that Hancock was the maiden name of Mary Hancock.
(7th great grandparents.)
